How to put a single AirWatch (DS, CN, SEG, CG, API, AWCM) instance behind UAG.

  • Edit Reverse Proxy Settings

  • Create new Reverse Proxy Instance

Proxy Pattern: This pattern includes all Virtual Directories on the AW Server

(/|/AirWatch(.*)|AirWatchServices(.*)|awdiscover(.*)|AwHttpProxy(.*)|Catalog(.*)|ciscoise(.*)|Content(.*)|ContentPull(.*)|DeviceManagement(.*)|DeviceServices(.*)|Enroll(.*)|IdentityService(.*)|Microsoft-Server-Activesync(.*)|MyDevice(.*)|SEGConsole(.*)|SEGSetup(.*)|servlet(.*)|traveler(.*)|TrustService(.*))

Proxy Host Pattern: Used to direct traffic which hits the Proxy Pattern to correct Hostname. This is customizable depending on the requirements externally. For example, if the customer doesn’t want to access SSP ("MyDevice") externally then this can be removed. Once configured, you should see your Reverse Proxy as active.

If you have an open ended Proxy Pattern (*) then this will catch all traffic and forward to the specific Proxy Host Pattern. This can cause issues when using multiple Reverse Proxy instances.
